Rating of the highest-paid YouTube stars of 2021

YouTube is available in over 100 countries and supports 80 languages, which is not surprising considering YouTube has over 2 billion active users.


The countries with the most YouTube users in 2022:

India was the country with the largest YouTube audience through January 2022, with an estimated 467 million users interacting with the popular social video platform.

They were followed by the United States with an estimated 247 million YouTube viewers.

Indonesia came in third with 139 million users who watched content on YouTube.

In the United Kingdom, nearly 57.6 million Internet users interacted with the platform during the study period.


YouTube: The Most Viewed Channels of 2022

Music and children's content dominate the ranking of the most popular YouTube channels based on monthly views as of March 2022. T-Series ranked first with an estimated 3.52 billion views on the channel. POPS Kids ranked second with 3.43 billion views.

Indian music label T-Series ranked first with 191 million subscribers. Video game commentator Felix Kjellberg, also known as PewDiePie, ranked sixth with about 110 million subscribers. The YouTube channel with the most subscribers was the subject of a heated contest, PewDiePie vs. T-Series," which garnered a lot of attention online.

#1 - MrBeast

2021 estimated earnings: $54 million

Number of subscribers (main channel): 88.7 million

First place is the highest paid YouTuber, Jimmy Donaldson, who runs the famous MrBeast channel. In January 2022, MrBeast had over 87 million subscribers. He is only 23 years old and has amassed a small fortune through his mega-popular channel, which often features expensive and elaborate stunts. He is known for stunts, including freezing himself in ice and giving away huge sums of money to strangers who participate in his challenges.

He also makes money from merchandise sales and partnerships with brands such as Microsoft and Electronic Arts. Forbes reports that he made about $54 million in 2021.

MrBeast has many other channels succeeding as well. For example, MrBeast Gaming has 25 million subscribers, while Beast React has more than 14 million. Another channel dedicated to short videos is called MrBeast Shorts and has over 11 million subscribers.

He's also proven to be a successful businessman: In 2021 he created a mobile app that allows you to order his branded burgers from 1,600 restaurants in the United States. He's also quite the philanthropist, raising a lot of money for all sorts of charities.


#2 - Jake Paul

In 2nd place on Forbes' list of top YouTubers s is actor, boxer and blogger Jake Paul, with $45 million in revenue. Not many YouTube personalities have transcended the platform like Jake Paul, who continues to dominate the headlines.

Although he is still a content creator, his recent turn to professional boxing has led to his total net worth going even higher.

In fact, Forbes reports that it is boxing, not YouTube, that makes up most of his current wealth.


#3 - Markiplier

Mark Fischbach successfully sells merchandise under his Markiplier brand, earning $38 million last year. He established himself early as an avid gamer and continues to explore ways to provide content, such as podcasting and television. According to recent estimates, Markiplier's channel has racked up more than 17.3 billion video views this year.

The American comedy duo, who host YouTube talk show "Good Mythical Morning," has earned $30 million in 2021. The 43-year-old Rhett James McLaughlin and 42-year-old Charles Lincoln are among the oldest YouTube stars, having begun their existence as a nerdy talk show in 2012.

Taking a nerdy approach to comedy, this comedy duo quickly built their brand and expanded it. Their family talk show, "Good Mythical Morning," remains extremely popular, as does their collaborative cooking show, "Mythical Kitchen." These are just a few of the profitable ventures that Rhett & Link are engaged in.

This is a newcomer to the list of the wealthiest YouTubers.

UnspeakableGaming is a YouTube gaming channel run by a guy named Nathan. His net worth is estimated at $50 million. Most of the videos are about Minecraft, challenges, role-playing games, custom maps, etc. He started publishing videos on YouTube since 2012, but his channel started in the beginning of 2016. Every day new content is posted on the platform, and his most popular video, on Craziest Minecraft Seeds, has over 8.5 million views.

The channel has more than 12 million subscribers as of 2022, growing at an average of 5,000 new subscribers a day. His other channel, called Unspeakable, has over 14 million subscribers as of 2022 and has gained over 8 billion views.


#6 Like Nastya

2021 estimated earnings:$28 million

Number of subscribers (main channel): 86 million

Anastasia Radzinskaya, a 7-year-old girl from Russia, has over 80 million subscribers to her channel where she and her father play Lego, do chores at home and discuss various topics.

The channel is called "Like Nastya," where she introduces viewers to her world through a continuous series of well-produced videos. Born with cerebral palsy, she still easily evokes sympathy and inspires millions of children and adults. Nastya's channel, with nearly 90 million subscribers, also began as a place to discover and evaluate new children's toys. Its popularity has grown over time, as has its income. Forbes estimates that Nastya and the family earned $28 million last year.

Like Unspeakable, she recently sold the rights to her Spotter back catalog, and that explains much of her current wealth. She also sells a lot of merchandise and even released an NFT collection with celebrity businessman Gary Vaynerchuk.


#7 Ryan Kaji

2021 estimated earnings:$27 million

Number of subscribers (main channel): 31.5 million

Ryan Kaji is the author of the world's most famous channel that posts reviews of children's toys. In 2021, his reviews, educational videos and family blogs earned him $27 million. Now 10 years old, his parents and managers are more focused on keeping his brand alive as he ages out of playtime. To that end, the videos feature animated characters who play along with Ryan.

Right now, his main YouTube channel, Ryan's World, supports 31 million subscribers and a huge line of branded merchandise and toys sold at major retailers such as Target and Walmart.


#8 Dude Perfect

2021 estimated earnings:$20 million

Number of subscribers (main channel): 57million

Comedy group Dude Perfect ranked third in 2020. It made $20 million in 2021. Five friends - Coby Cotton, Cory Cotton, Garrett Gilbert, Cody Jones and Tyler Toney - perform stunts with lightsabers, Nerf guns and drawing balls.

He has gained popularity mainly through his Minecraft game videos, although the blogger has several different channels. In 2021, Preston earned $16 million - slightly less than the year before, when he ranked sixth on the list.

Over 12 million people subscribe to this four-year-old channel, with relevant content. In one of his videos, he created a gaming version of Minecraft with features for Squid Game. Preston has hired 24 people to help him make videos exploring the pixelated world of Minecraft. Although he didn't make as much money in 2021 as he did the year before, he's still on the list of the 10 highest-paid YouTubers.
